Maintenance and repair of vessels
A/S Hvide Sande Skibs- & Baadebyggeri have the below listed departments at our disposal and can handle all kinds of maintenance tasks:
Stock On the stocks of the yard up to 20 units can be handled at the same time. Furthermore, we have several halls which make it possible to work indoor on units of up to 50 metres.
Carpenter department The department consists of 30 ship carpenters with wide-ranging experience in wooden vessels. The department has experiences with large sailing boats and vintage ships concerning restoration and maintenance, as well as new built ships like large restaurant ships.
Smith department The smith department consist of smiths with experience in aluminium works, ship mounting and much more.
Steel department The department is in charge of larger building and construction assignments such as ship construction. In addition, the department handles stainless steel tasks.
Painting department The department does almost any kinds of surface treatment of ships, such as sandblasting, metal coating, spray coating and more. Furthermore, the department does all paintings in connection with restoration of old sailing boats.
Drawing room Our motivated drawing room with visions has had a large influence on the development of the yard. The drawing room has specialised in the fishing industry and small special vessels.
