Centrally located on Hvide Sande Harbour is A/S Hvide Sande Skibs- & Baadebyggeri located.

Since 1950, we have worked with a large number of different types of vessels, from the fishing cutters to the modern service vessels for the offshore wind farms.

Today is our shipyard specialized in new builds of service vessels, ferries and other special vessels. The Repair & Service Department handles all kinds of repairs, rebuilds and different kinds of "unusual" projects. The shipyard has through many years, gained competences within rebuilds and maintenance of tall ships, where many of the tall ships are coming back to Hvide Sande every year.    

The establishment of the steel subdivision , Seasight Steel, which has, through the time, delivered over 200 steel hulls to the shipbuidling industry, has put A/S Hvide Sande Skibs- & Baadebyggeri in position to supply on many different areas.

Today, Seasight Steel is specialized in transportation- and lifting equipment.  

Seasight  is one of the shipyards subdivisions, specialized in houseboats and carpentry. Since the establishment of the subdivision, Seasight  has engaged in a number of different types of houseboats, sailing houseboats, houses, holiday houses and regular carpentry.

With the establishment of Seasight Offshore, A/S Hvide Sande Skibs- & Baadebyggeri is today specialized in fender systems for crew transfering between the service vessel and the wind turbines, in all weather conditions. Seasight Offshore carry out service and maintenance of the service vessels day and night, no matter when the service vessel calls at port.
